YAY! Final Zines.. eek :)
Really happy with them, I think they would really well. I’m glad i stitched them, which I was unsure about because I wasn’t convinced it would hold all the pages together, but it does it really well, and doing each zine an alternative colour makes it more unique and different from each other, which also reflects the shops and the characteristics of zines.
Really enjoyed this project, I met some amazing people and found a lot of interesting information out, which even though steep hill has always interested me I would never have the confidence to just talk to the shop keepers about it. I hope I have time to make a Zine again and I always have my Fanzine book for inspiration for other projects as well. It’s sad that this project is over now, but bring on the next! :) x
Second set of questionnaires. Second set of spelling mistakes.
I found these quite interesting, people think of Topshop being more of a threat than Primark, although for the same reasons. I also thought they would have more mean things to say about the high street, but they seemed fairy alright, they still think steep hill shops are a lot more unique, personal and just a better shop experience in general as they are all owned independently and believe in what they sell. I got some good quotes from these which I will defiantly be using! and some more images.
